32nd State Thang-Ta Championship 2022 : O Tombisana wins junior girls -40 kg Phunaba Anishuba gold

Imphal, February 23 2022: O Tombisana claimed the gold medal of the junior girls -40 kg Phunaba Anishuba in the ongoing 32nd State Thang-Ta Championship 2022 at Thang-Ta Shanglen, Yumnam Huidrom today.

Lika Chanu Moirangthem Thoibi Thang-Ta, Moirang was able to win the silver medal as K Anjali of Anjika, Sangaiprou won the bronze medal.

U-44 kg title of the junior girls Phunaba Anishuba went to Manorama Yumnam of Thang-Ta Maheikol, Yumnam Huidrom as Chandri Sunar of Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta, Moidangpok finished second to claim the silver medal.

Sonam Chithung of Haokok Thang-Ta, Hungpung on the other hand finished third in this category to settle with the bronze medal.

Th Pushparani Devi of Anjika, Sangaiprou won the -48 kg category title beating Pukhrambam Seilija Devi of Thoibi Thang-Ta Moirang in the final.

N Roshibina Devi of Thang-Ta Maheikol, Yumnam Huidrom on the other hand finished third to grab the bronze medal.

H Dolly of Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta, Moidangpok, on the other hand, sealed the -52 kg category gold as K Thaja of Thoibi Thang-Ta, Moirang and N Linthoi Devi of Kha-Manipur Thang-Ta, Pallel finished with the silver and the bronze medals respectively.

In the U-56 kg category final, Sarangthem Malemnga-nbi of Thoibi Thang-Ta, Moirang beat Khaidem Roshibina Chanu of Mangang Luwang Khuman Thang-Ta, Sugnu to win the gold.

Yumnam Chanu Olivia of Thang-Ta Maheikol, Yumnam Huidrom in the meantime sealed the -60 kg gold beating Puinabati Angom of Thoibi Thang-Ta in the final.

Kolom Merina Devi of the Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta, Moidangpok was able to win the bronze medal.

Sandham Rojika Chanu of Thang-Ta Maheikol was able to win the unit another gold in the -65 kg event.

Junior Girls Phunaba Ama
In the junior girls Phunaba Ama event for -40 kg Asharani Devi of Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta, Moidangpok won the gold as A Dhanapati Devi of Laiyingthou Kangba Thang-Ta, Kangmong win the -44 kg beating P Roshni Devi of Yumnam Huidrom of Thang-Ta Maheikol in the final.

S Velena Devi of Kanglei Thang-Ta Sindam Shang, Maklang on the other hand settled for the -44 kg category bronze.

The -48 kg gold went to Ahanthem Celina Devi of Thoibi Thang-Ta beating Pukhrambam Linthoinganbi Devi of Ngaikhong Khunou Thang-Ta Academy in the final.

Sh Priya of Kangleipak Royal Thang-Ta, Sagolband was able to fetch the -52 kg title beating S Velinda Devi of Thoibi Thang-Ta in the final today.

M Tungboi Makunga of Tengnoupal Thang-Ta Academy on the other hand finished third to win the bronze medal.

Laishram Anjali Devi of Ngaikhong Khunou Thang-Ta Academy and Moirangthem Linthoinganbi devi of Thoibi Thang-Ta respectively won the -56 kg and -70 kg titles.

Sub-Junior Boys Phunaba Anishuba
T Ronald Singh of Kanglei Thang-Ta Sindam Shang, Maklang was able to seal the -25 kg category title after beating L Ningthouba Sharma of Thang-Ta Maheikol in the final today.

L Lanchenba Luwang of Mangang Luwang Khuman, Sugnu finished third to earn the bronze medal.

In the U-29 kg category final, S Punikanta Singh of Thang-Ta Maheikol fetched the gold beating Th Malemnganba of Kanglei Thang-Ta Shindam Shang, Maklang in the final today.

Finishing third to win the bronze medal was L Kaiku of Wabagai.

In the -33 kg final, Rionel Hijam of Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta Moidangpok beat H Bikash Singh of Thang-Ta Maheikol to win the gold as Y Winner of MMAA settled for the bronze medal.

Rohit Maisnam on the other hand emerged -41 kg category winner after beating K Parihanba Singh of Thoibi Thang-Ta in the final today.

H Yangba Singh was able to win the bronze medal of the category.

Th Malem of Mangang Luwang Khuman fetched the -45 kg category gold beating N Paikhomba Meitei of Thoubal District Thang-Ta, Kakching Khunou in the final. Y Mahendra Singh of Thang-Ta Maheikol on the other hand finished third in this category to settle with the bronze medal.

In the U-49 kg final, N Nepolian of Thoubal District Thang-Ta beat H Rohit Sharma of Laiyingthou Kangba Thang Ta to win the gold as N Lenin of Institute of Langol Punsiba Thang-Ta, Iroishemba settles for the bronze medal.

Winning -53 kg category gold was Kh Abomcha of Kanglei Thang-Ta Sindam Shang after beating K Seenajit of Thoibi Thang-Ta in the final while Jack Sougrakpam of Thang-Ta Maheikol won the bronze.

L Thouna Meitei of Thoubal District Thang-Ta won the +53 kg category gold beating Y Johnson Singh of Thang-Ta Maheikol today in the final while K Loveson Singh of Ibudhou Korouhanba Thang-Ta, Moidangpok settled for the bronze medal.
