YAWA shine in State sepaktakraw

Imphal, September 13: Youth Amateur Welfare Association (YAWA), Singjamei wrested both the men's and women's regu event titles of the 24th State Sepaktakraw Championship which concluded at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium today.

In the women's final YAWA outlasted IMSUC, heingang 15-21, 21-7, 15-5 while the men's team defeated PUC, Kairang 19-21, 21-8, 16-14. MPSC had claimed the men's team event crown yesterday defeating PUC as LKYDA-A, Laipham Khunou clinched the mini boys title defeating SWC-A, Hiyanglam.
