SSGG College, Pravabati College claim titles in MU Inter College Handball tournament

Imphal, October 17 2022: Shree Shree Gour-gobind Girls' College and Pravabati College won titles in the Manipur University Inter College Handball Tournament 2022 after their triumphs in the final matches at Shree Shree Gourgobind Girls' College, Khurai on Monday.

Shree Shree Gourgobind Girls' College registered a 21-16 victory against Biramangol College in the women's final to lay their hands on the capt Sanoujam Ingo Singh championship trophy.

Th Anjubala led the scoring for the champions racking up 10 points, followed by Th Jenila (5), Th Rashibala (4) and L Anjubala (2) .

In the men's final, Pravabati College defeated Biramangol College 15-11 to lift the Sanoujam Ayekpam Nalini Devi memorial trophy.

Pravabati College won the men's event with efforts from ATondonba (5), Yaiphaba (5), Jekel (3) and Manikanta (2) .
