Manipur crowned champions of Sub Junior National Langadi C'Ship

Imphal, December 31 2018: Manipur emerged overall champions of Sub-Junior National Langadi Championship which was held at Rock Garden, Chandigarh from December 28-30 .

Manipur's M Diamond was named best player in boys' category while Th Elish Chanu emerged best girl at the championship.

State boys' team trounced Telangana 30-08 in the semi-final before claiming the title with a 28-24 triumph over Maharashtra in the final.

The girls' team on the other hand sealed a 23-20 win over Telangana to claimed the girls' title.

The team were led by N Ramo who is the general secretary in-charge of Manipur State Langadi Association as general manager; L Hamarjit as team manager and coaches H Aisho and L Naobi.
