Army distributes medicines to villagers

Imphal, February 08 2024: Indian Army distributed medicines to villagers of Pukhao and Uyumpok in Imphal East district on Wednesday.

According to PRO (Defence), the distribution was carried out in tune with the national drive of "Ayushman Bharat" and "Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna" under Operation Sadbhavana.

During the event, essential medicines were distributed to the villagers in accordance with the medical super vision to ensure basic healthcare to treat ailments in the villages.

The event was attended by village representatives of Pukhao and Uyumpok in Imphal East.

The villagers appreciated the initiative of the Indian Army, said the PRO.
