Imphal, September 09 2015 : The visit of RN Ravi, chairman of Joint Intelligence Committee, Govt of India and interlocutor to NSCN-IM peace talks, to the State should be denounced rather than giving a rousing welcome, Coalition for Indigenous Rights Campaign (CIRCA), Manipur said.

Addressing a press meet yesterday at the office of HERICOUN, Somorendro Thokchom Convener of CIRCA, Manipur said there is a source saying that RN Ravi is visiting the State within a couple of days.

CIRCA Manipur is a preparatory committee formed during a public convention organised by DESAM, AIMS and like-minded organisations on Aug 21 at GM Hall.

Somorendro said that the visit of RN Ravi is aimed at disintegrating the State by sowing seeds of mistrust and suspicion among smaller ethnic communities of the State.
