Society names three for awards

Imphal, March 15 2024: Arts Society Manipur has announced the names of awardees for the 15th Annual Art Award along with recipient for the A Jandhabi Devi Memorial Award on Friday.

The awardee for the 15th Annual Art Award is Laishram Sushil (water colour), while the Honourable Mention Award shall be conferred to Meitram Boichand (acrylic) and Jandhabi Award to Yengkhom Jobita (sculpture).

The awards will be presented during the inaugural function of the 15th Annual Art Exhibition on March 20, a release by Society secretary M Maningou informed.
