Imphal, March 15 2024: Communist Party of India (CPI) has decided to field CPI Manipur State Council former secretary Laishram Sotinkumar in the Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency.

A decision to this effect was adopted at a CPI National executive meeting held on March 14, according to a press release issued by MSC/CPI office secretary Th Robindro.

Laishram Sotinkumar who would be contesting the Lok Sabha election on CPI ticket is currently serving as the general secretary of AITUC Manipur.
