Imphal, February 08 2024: Assam Rifles of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), organised a lecture on organic farming and modern agricultural technology at Zou Khunou village, Churachandpur district, on Wednesday.

The lecture was aimed at educating the farmers about the benefits of modern agricultural techniques, emphasising increased crop productivity and ecological balance.

Topics covered included advantages of organic farming, available techniques, and government schemes supporting such initiatives.

The interactive session facilitated discussions and inquiries.

Fifteen villagers participated, demonstrating community interest in sustainable agriculture, said a release by PRO IGAR(S) .
