Pre-training prog, medical camp conducted

Assam Rifles conducted a pre-recruitment training (PRT) session at Modi Battalion headquarters, Chandel district, on Wednesday to enhance the skills and readiness of aspiring candidates numbering 30.The training, meticulously designed to equip candidates with the necessary knowledge and preparation for upcoming recruitment processes, covered various aspects including physical fitness, written examination techniques, and interview skills.
Through expert guidance and hands-on exercises, participants were empowered to excel in their pursuit of career opportunities in the armed forces, informed PRO IGAR (S) in a release, adding that as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement, prizes and training items were distributed to the participants.
The event underscores commitment to fostering talent and empowering youth in Manipur.
Such initiatives are pivotal in shaping a brighter future for nation, said the PRO.
In another release, the PRO informed that Assam Rifles of IGAR (South) organised a comprehensive health check-up for expecting mothers, rural women and children at Larong village, Chandel district, under its civic action programme, on Thursday.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from nearby villages with over 105 residents availing the medical services.
Free consultations, checkup, medicines and health supplements were provided to the women and children during the camp spearheaded by chief medical officer of the Assam Rifles.
