Fire safety mock drill conducted

Raj Medicity, Imphal in collaboration with Manipur Fire Service conducted a one-day Fire Safety Awareness and Mock Drill Training on Thursday with an aim to enhance fire safety preparedness and awareness within the healthcare facility.
In a release, Raj Medicity informed that a dedicated team from the Manipur Fire Service led by joint director Laishram Nabachandra Singh and fire safety officer Jillangamba Singh conducted the programme.
The training included theoretical sessions on fire safety protocols, preventive measures, and emergency response strategies, followed by a practical demonstration through a meticulously executed mock drill.
The release further mentioned that the fire mock drill conducted on the hospital premises, simulated a real-life fire emergency scenario, allowing the hospital staff to practice evacuation procedures, fire suppression techniques, and coordination with emergency services.
Raj Medicity executive director Dr Vijayaraj Haobijam expressed his sincere appreciation to the officials from the Manipur Fire Service and all participants for their active involvement in making the training session and mock drill a success.
