Irabot Foundation, Manipur provided relief items to internally displaced persons (IDPs) taking shelter in different relief camps and village volunteers who are safeguarding Manipur from attacks of armed Kuki militants.
In a release, secretary (organisation) N Yaima said that Irabot Foundation has been taking up crop plantations to make the state become self-reliant in terms of food production.
Noting that state's farmers are able to reap benefit of their hard toil in the field through generation of decent income, he acknowledged that such positive change has been made possible due to help and support of the horticulture department, which provided crop seeds to the farmers.
