Torch rally decries aggression

Imphal, December 05 2023: Hundreds of volunteers of Village Protection Force (VPF) Yumnam Khunou Unit took out a torch rally at the surrounding areas of Yumnam Khunou against the frequent attacks on Meeteis by Kuki narco-terrorists, today.

The rally carried a message to avenge for the killing of several Meeteis and for the Meeteis to be united and stay alert amid the heightened aggression of the Kuki narcoterrorists.

Meanwhile, Khundrakpam Kendra Youths' Organization (KHUKYO) president L Sanjit said that a need has emerged to vacate the Kukis from Saikul Constituency as Meeteis have been targeted repeatedly from that side.

Speaking to the media at a mobilization drive, Sanjit continued that the Meetei society needs to face the aggression of Kuki militants and their associates as one to secure the future of Manipur.
