Imphal, November 19 2023: A book entitled "Cheklagi Kaidongpham", penned by Thokchom Chandra was released on Sunday at Manipur Hindi Parishad auditorium.

The programme was attended by retired SDO Thokchom Shivadutta as chief guest, Manipur Literary Society, Imphal vice president Naorem Lokeshwore as functional president and retired colonel H Sharat and DMU associate professor Dr Sharatchandra Longjam as guests of honour.

On the other hand, a book penned by Haobam Satyabati titled "Mahaktubu Warouramgadra" was released on Sunday in a programme organised by Writers' Forum, Imphal at Manipur Press Club.

The release programme was presided over by Forum president Keisham Priyokumar and vice president Irungbam Bashanta while All India Radio, Imphal former director Dilip Mayengbam shared his views on the book.
