Health monitoring devices distributed

Gauri Kaul Foundation distributed health monitoring devices and organised self-monitoring awareness programmes at relief camps.
In a release, Gauri Kaul Foundation (GFK) informed that a team of Indian Doctors for Peace and Development visited relief camps and found patients with diabetes, high blood pressure and chronic kidney diseases unable to monitor their health condition.
As such a team headed by GFK director Dr Priyadarshini Arambam in collaboration with Manipur Technical University assistant professor GG Sapna and her team N Koiremba, Babita Moirangthem and Bandana Arambam under the leadership of GFK founder director Professor Upendra Kaul distributed health monitoring devices and organised self-monitoring awarenessprogramme at relief camps set up at Moirang College, Moirangkhunou Keirenphaibi Primary School, Khongnangmakhong, Kumbi Awang High School, Kumbi Leirak Achouba community hall, Laishang Leikai and SC Girls' Hostel Thanga Wangma High School.
The distribution of devices and awareness programme will also be taken up in other relief camps, it added.
