Imphal, August 24 2015: An educational trust 'AI-Ameen Dr Mumtaz Ahmed Khan Educational & Welfare Trust, Manipur' was inaugurated on Monday at Manipur Press Club, MajorKhul by Abdul Rafeeq, General Manager of Al Ameen Educational Society, Bangalore.

Abdul Rafeeq, General Manager of the society; Inder Rahman, President of CSF and trustee of Manipur unit, Dr Hamidur Rahman, Asst Professor, Manipur University, Nejarrjmuddin, CEO, Wakf Board, Manipur graced the function as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

The AAMAKEW Trust is an initiative taken to establish an educational-society with an objective to transform the education system in Manipur with focused reforms like introduction, integration of moral and ethical components, skills in education system from the grass roots level, to bridge the skill gap among the youth after their formal education.

The integration of research in skills is another main focus of the trust to all the deserving minority students of the state.

The trust also gives free education to the students with 85% and above marks in the board exams.
