RKM, SFs distribute relief materials

Imphal, November 19 2023:
Ramakrishna Mission (RKM), Babupara, Imphal on Friday distributed blankets and other relief materials at relief camps set up at Kumbi Tera Kha, Moirang Khunou Khongnangmakhong, Moirang Khunou Mayai, Makha and Maning Leikai and Mukta High School, Kokilabon and Thangalawai in Moirang.
In a release, Ramakrishna Mission informed that apart from the blankets, expectant mothers staying in the camps were provided with two packs each of Mother's Plus Horlicks, food supple-ment/infant milk for Infants and stationery items for the students.
Three baby walkers were also gifted at Kumbi Tera Kha relief camp for the babies on earnest request of their mothers and camp organisers.
In the current month till November 17, Ramakrishna Mission has distributed 1574 winter blankets, 105 packets of supplements for expectant mothers and infants, and 2373 notebooks apart from stationeries and other necessary items, worth more than Rs 7.5 Lakh at 21 relief Camps, sheltering more than 2590 people from 738 families, in Imphal East, Imphal West and Bishnupur districts, the release added.
On the other hand, under the aegis of IGAR (South), security forces conducted interaction programme followed by distribution of essential items at Dorcas Veng YPA relief camp in Churachandpur district on Saturday.
According to PRO IGAR (S), security forces also distributed essential educational aids including notebooks, stationery, world maps, easel boards with st'ands, writing boards, marker pens, erasers and pencils to the students of Government High School, Khayang village in Kamjong district.
