Dr Ksh Kala honoured with national award

Imphal, December 05 2023: Dr Ksh Kala, who is a cardio vascular and thoracic surgeon working at Raj Medicity and Public Hospital Hatta, was honoured with Dr BR Ambedkar National Award in recognition of his contribution in health sector.

The award was presented in a ceremony organised by BR Ambedkar Sports Foundation at Indira Gandhi Arena, New Delhi on Sunday.

The award was presented in recognition of his humanitarian services in health sector during Covid-19 pandemic, free home visit to check the health condition of elderly people, differently abled people and providing primary healthcare to people who have been displaced by the current crisis in the state and are now living in relief camps.
