Special programme for displaced children held

Imphal, November 19 2023:
GP Women's College, Dhanamanjuri University and Mother's Care Children Hospital & Research Centre, Imphal, on Sunday jointly organised a "One day event for displaced children (3-8 years) staying in relief camps" at the College campus in Old Lambulane.
The programme conducted under the aegis of Social Welfare Department was attended by DMU Vice Chancellor, Prof N Rajmuhon; GP Women's College, Principal, PRof Tamphasana Rajkumari; DM College of Science, Principal, Prof M Bhubaneshwari and Mother's Care Children Hospital & Research Centre chairman, Dr Kh Ratankumar as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof N Rajmuhon expressed his concern over the prevailing situation of Manipur and urged all to stand united and face the obstacles bravely for a better & prosperous future.
He also urged all, especially the parents/ guardians of children staying in relief camps to take care of their ward's mental well being and help develop a positive attitude.
As part of the programme, a souvenir was released and a free medical camp was also conducted.
