Imphal, November 05 2015:
Government of India's interlocutor for the Naga Peace Talk RN Ravi was told that India should not at any cost harm the interests of Manipur or disintegrate the State's boundary as a result of the Naga Peace Accord signed on August 3 last and told him that the country should be prepared for a war with Manipur if the Centre failed to listen to the points highlighted by United Committee Manipur (UCM), All Manipur United Club's Organisation (AMUCO) and Committee on Civil Societies, Manipur (CCSK), said UCM President Elangbam Johnson.

Johnson made the statement during the one-day public discussion organised jointly by UCM, AMUCO, CCSK and Eastern Students' Club, Nongmeibung at the Club's hall on Thursday.
Johnson stated that people of Manipur now need to minutely discuss the current turmoil.
He said that the Naga Peace Accord was signed on the agreement that it should be within the purview of the Indian Constitution and that it should not harm the territorial boundary of Manipur.
However, the Centre seems to be making attempts to fulfill some demands of NSCN (IM) and conceding to these demands would be a big disadvantage for the people of Manipur, said Johnson.
He added that the role being played by the Government of India in the Naga Peace Accord has already sown the seeds of disintegrating Manipur.
Johnson further said that RN Ravi, who visited the State to seek views and suggestions regarding the Naga Peace Accord, was told not to harm the territorial boundary of Manipur and he was also reminded about the six-point demand made earlier in a memorandum.
RN Ravi was told to prepare for a war between Government of India and Manipur if India failed to fulfill the demands made by UCM, AMUCO and CCSK, said Johnson.
He called on the people of the State to prepare for a war if territorial boundary of Manipur is threatened.
The UCM President also warned of a mass movement much stronger than the June 18 uprising if Government of India acts against the wishes of Manipur people.
