KCP observes death anniv of Founder Deputy Army Chief

The proscribed UG group Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) today observed the death anniversary of its Founder Deputy Army Cheif Yendrembam Ibohanbi popularly known as Baji Ibohanbi at the HQ and GHQ of the party by offering floral tribute and Guard of Honour.
According to a press statement signed by its Information and Publiciy Secretary H Poirei, KCP recalled that Baji Ibohanbi was killed in an armed clash at Heituppokpi, Andro on July 1, 1995. It further stated that the cadres of the party have been following the footsteps of the late leader who dedicated his life for the sake of creating a united force to face the colonial rule of India.
The observation of his death anniversary would be meaningful only after the cadres of the party live upto the expectation of the people and fellow organisations and bring freedom to the people of Manipur, it added.
