25 years old girl alleges sexual exploitation by a government employee for around 10 years
Matter reaches MHRC, grills the Women Police officers

At a time when people of the state are crying for justice of rape victims, a fresh case of sexual exploitation arises of a 25 years old girl by a government employee for over 10 years by promising her marriage but broke the promise saying that he is only a sex lover.
The girl was also reportedly harassed and physically assaulted for spreading their illicit relationship to his friend.
Unable to bear the pain, the 25 years old girl is in a deep depression.
Doctor's report said that she is suffering from a major depressive disorder.
What is more surprising is that the Women Police station of Imphal West located at Lamphel instead of cooperating with the victim girl, allegedly harassed them using several techniques by not officially receiving the complaints.
The matter has been finally put up to the notice of the MHRC and following a complaint case, the MHRC sent a notice to the Officer-in-charge of the Women Police Station Imphal West but again to the utter surprise the notice from the MHRC was not given any respect.
The personnel at the station asked the MHRC communicator to wait for their OC instead of receiving it through proper channel.
Later, the Registry of the MHRC had written to the Superintendent of Police, Imphal West instructing him to direct the OC and the duty officer to appear before the Commission by 11 am today.
Following that the OC of the Women Police station along with four other duty personnel appeared today at the Commission and explain their position in connection with the case.
On the other hand, as per the report submitted by MHRC, the girl said that she was forced to have illicit relationship by the government employee, serving as an Assistant Engineer at PWD presently staying at Langol Lamanai.
According to her, she was forced to have illicit relationship after she completed her class X examination.
Now after she has completed her graduation she approached the person to tie the knot for marriage.
The girl got shocked in hearing a reply , whom she was sexually exploited since the time when she was just 15 years old.
The person exploited the girl on the promise of marrying her, he had used her as commodities till she attains maturity.
On a shocking reply, the person Meipuipou Golmei told her that he is only interested in sex and not interested in getting married to her.
The girl was also allegedly assaulted and harassed for spreading the news about their relationship by the Government officer.
Shocked over the development she has been traumatized and as per the doctor's report, she is presently suffering from major depressive disorder.
She had also stopped attending her MA class as she is suffering from an acute mental disorder.
