A joint meeting of the JAC Against the Missing of N Ibomcha of Singjamei Waikhom Leikai, locals clubs and various civil society organizations convened at Manipur Press Club today has resolved to urge the authorities to find out the whereabouts of missing N Ibomcha.
Ibomcha was reportedly abducted by some unidentified for ransom.
The meeting also resolved that the Police should disclose the criminal acts of the two persons who have been arrested in connection with the abduction of N Ibomcha.
The JAC and CSOs would convene a public meeting on June 20 at 1 pm at Waikhom Leikai Athletic Ground to discuss the issue.
It may be recalled that N Ibomcha, who runs the Golden Travels Agency, went missing from his home since April 10, 2013 .
However, on the next day one person from Dimapur called up Ibomcha's wife on her mobile phone claiming that they had detained Ibomcha in connection with a monetary case and asked her to bring Rs.5 lakhs for his safe release.
