Entire school comes together to help ailing ex-student

Imphal, September 28 2019:
The Management Committee, teaching, non-teaching staff and students of Millennium Institute of Sciences, Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi, Imphal have donated Rs 1,34,030 to Axn Sadokpam, an ex-student of the institute today.
Axn Sadokpam of Tera Yengkhom Leirak is 'visually impaired' due to an illness and is currently undergoing treatment.
He is son of a widow who is a heart patient.

He has a little sister who is in Class VI .
Almost all of the family properties were sold to cover treatment of his late father.
The monetary aid was extended as 'a humble gesture in support of his treatment', said the Managing Committee of the school.
Apart from the monetary assistance, Millennium Institute of Sciences has also promised free education upto Class XII for his little sister at the school.
Earlier, on Meeyamgi Numit, Chief Minister N Biren Singh had promised the family a house.
