CCpur, March 14 2020:
A 10-bedded room in the Churachandpur District Hospital has been designated as a coronavirus quarantine facility.
The district officials, while pulling up its sleeves to tackle any eventuality, also formed a District Surveillance Committee with 20 members headed by the district Deputy Commissioner Pawan Yadav.
The DC instructed all villagers residing along the Myanmar border to restrict movement within the district and not cross the international border until further order.
The order identified the SDMs, and law enforcing agencies to enforce the restriction on cross-border movement.
Meanwhile, all educational institutions, including those run by the Churches have been closed for three weeks.
