Shemrock Woodstock School inaugurated at Ukhrul

Ukhrul, March 14 2020:
Rev Fr Philip Parish, priest of Mary Help Church, Ukhrul today inaugurated Shemrock Woodstock School at Kasomtang, Ukhrul.
Rev Philip cut the ribbon and opened the school in the presence of Ukhrul ADC Member Edmund Chiphang.
The priest also invoked blessing by sprinkling water in all rooms of the school.
Executive Director of Shemrock, Ukhrul, Josephine Chiphang spoke about the objectives for opening the school at Ukhrul town.
She said that Shemrock preschool is a stress-free and fun-filled learning centre for children which is established in Ukhrul district for the first time.
Initially, Shemrock would open only for kindergarten children and the classes will gradually increase.
The Director of Shemrock highlighted that the preschool was first established in 1989 by Bimal Arora in Delhi and has expanded branches in numerous cities and beyond the country.
Shemrock followed CBSE pattern and is one of the premier education centre of the country he said and mentioned that Chhota Bheem is the brand ambassador of Shemrock pre School.
As a part of the inaugural function, the school authority also held a free dental camp and a painting competition for children aged 5 to 10 years.
The programme was also attended by Kasomtang chairman Chonmi Raleng, parents, children and well-wishers.
