Combined Annual Training Camp concluded

Imphal, March 22 2021: The Combined Annual Training Camp-32 (CATC-32) for Army and Air Wing NCC cadets was concluded today at NCC Group Complex.

The CATC-32 was organized by 1 Manipur Air Squadron NCC, Imphal Group from 15 Mar 2021 to 21 Mar 2021 at NCC Group Complex and was attended by Army and Air wing cadets of NCC including 82 boys and 65 girl cadets from sixteen various colleges of Manipur.

The aim of this camp was to prepare the cadets in appearing for the upcoming 'C' certificate examination and also to develop a sense of responsibility, discipline, team spirit, smartness in appearance and improve overall personality.

The cadets were imparted training on weapon handling, foot drill, arms drills, physical training, common subjects and special subjects for Army & Air Wing.

Various lectures & classes were conducted as per training syllabus issued by DG NCC.

All the cadets were also put through competitions like firing & drill competitions.

SUO Kshetrimayum Nisha Chanu of 14 (M) Bn NCC &Cdt Leivon Omega Kom of 1 (M) Air Sqn stood 1st position and 2nd position respectively in the SW category.

Cdt Thangjam Jaken Singh of 1 (M) Air Sqn & CSUO Moirangthem Bishorjit of 1 (M) Air Sqn stood 1st position and 2nd position respectively.

Medical Directorate, CMO Imphal West and Principal of DM College of Science extended support in making this Combined Annual Training Camp-32 a successful event.
