Government educational institutes for Keirao AC coming soon: L Rameshwor

MLA Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei promised to open a Government college and a higher secondary school in Keirao AC in the coming years.
Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei, who is also the deputy chairman of State Planning Board said this today at a singing competition for students of Government and aided schools in Keirao AC held at Khanarok.
Speaking at the programme, he urged all the teachers to keep working harder and more sincerely in guiding students for a better future and added that some reports of teachers getting involved in business activities and neglecting their duties is really unfortunate.
L Rameshwor also appealed to all teachers posted in the constituency to take up the posting only if they can exercise their duties properly, otherwise they should go somewhere else.
He also added that the authorities also understands the woes faced by the teachers and other employees on reaching schools due to bad conditions of the road, however black topping of all the roads in Keirao AC will be completed by April.
The singing competition will increase interest of students to engage themselves in co-curricular activities, he added.
He added that the needs and requirements of Keirao Makting Junior High School, Phunal Maring High School and Urup High School will be provided soon and assured assistance in solving similar problems in remaining schools in the constituency.
The programme was also attended by M Premchandra, ZEO, Zone-II; K Chourajit, pradhan, Keirao GP; K Sunder, pradhan, Chanam Sandrok GP; Ch Bobichand, programme officer, ZEO Zone-II; Ningjapanba Wahengbam, account officer and M Shyamsunder, district coordinator as presidium members.
