Brothers charged with forging caste document

Imphal, July 21 2011:
The Manipur police have been frantically looking for two college seeking brothers on the charge of forgery and impersonation following a police complaint registered by a sub divisional officer whose signature and official seal was forged by the two accused.
According to Waikhong police, the sub divisional officer (name withheld) of Kakching on July 19 lodged a complaint against the two brothers, Ashem Dinoshor and Ashem Dinamani s/o A Mukho of Thonjao Mamang Leikai, charging them of impersonation and forging his signature and office seal on caste document on July 16, 2011 .
Waikhong police have slapped an FIR no 24 (7) 2011 Waikhong p/s u/s 468/341 IPC with impersonation and forgery intended to cheat.
Following the complaint, the police conducted a search operation at the accused house but the two brothers reportedly left the state to seek admission for further studies.
While the parents of the accused have claimed that they are unaware of their sons whereabouts, the police suspected that they might be in Delhi.
The Delhi police have been informed of the case and the description of the two brothers for a look out, said a police officer in Thoubal.
