Free medical camp organised

Imphal, January 31 2019:
143 Bn CRPF, under the aegis of RajeshKumar, IPS, IGP M&N Sector, CRPF Imphal, conducted a free medical camp at Muju Khunou and Rengpang village of Noney district today.
The campaign was launched by Lai Chand Yadav, Commandant 143 Bn CRPF in the presence of Dr G K Kabui, CMO 143 Bn CRPF, Ravindra Kumar Mallik, Second in Command 1443 Bn CRPF, Dharmendra Kumar, Assistant Commandant, Maisongdi Gongmei (village chairman of Muju Khunou), elders and villagers of Muju Khunou and Rengpang villages.
More than 300 villagers attended the medical camp.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commandant 143 Bn CRPF, said that under civic action programme, 143 Bn has been trying to redress the needs and requirements of the locals.
Under various initiatives taken up by the 143 Bn, various football tournaments have been organised to promote rural sporting talents at different parts of the State.
The 143 Bn CRPF has also reached out to the differently abled persons by providing wheel chairs, walking sticks, hearing aids etc.
On October 5 last year, 143 Bn CRPF, conducted free medical camp at Irang and at Khongsang on November 25.During the camp, Dr Kabui and his team members extended their services and provided medical assistance to the people suffering from various ailments.
More than 70-90 patients availed free medical check ups apart from distribution of medicines, 4 wheel chairs, 4 walking sticks, 4 hearing aids.
The chairman and villagers of the surrounding areas appreciated the work done by the CRPF for the community in remote parts of the State.
