AICC observers arrive, discuss govt formation

Soon after announcement of Congress securing absolute majority in the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly Elections, two central observers of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) reached Imphal today afternoon and began discussion on staking claim to form the next government in Manipur.
However, Congress is more likely to be divided into two groups over the formation and leadership of Congress Legislature Party, according to reliable sources.
Central Observer of AICC, Manipur-in-Charge Luizinho Faleiro and Heman Viswash, who arrived today afternoon held discussion with MPCC President Gaikha-ngam and Y Erabot on formation of the next government in the state.

Talking to mediapersons, Luizinho Faleiro said that party has not yet decided on who would lead the CLP.
However, the matter is under discussion and Congress would soon stake claim to form the next government in the state.
He also conveyed his gratitude to the people of the state who have their repose their trust on Congress and extended their support to ensure a landslide victory.
Meanwhile, many Congress candidates including new candidates who won the election today thronged the bungalow of Chief Minister Okram Ibobi to wish him for the grand success of Congress and discuss formation of new Congress Legislature Party (CLP) .
Reliable sources pointed that Congress is still divided into two groups over formation of CLP and its leadership.
Both groups would be discussing the matter with the Central observers and party's high command.
There are also reports of holding camps by both parties secretly.
