Left parties set off electoral reformation march

The Left Parties Coordination Committee,
Manipur has today initiated a 15-day long sensitization campaign
for electoral reformation.
The campaign has been launched in a meeting conducted at
Manipur Press Club today.
Five left parties in the State � CPI, CPI (IM), CPI (ML)
Liberation, RSP and AIFB, join hands for the campaign.
Speaking during the meeting, Dr M Nara, secretary, CPI,
Manipur State slammed the BJP Government at the Centre for
propagating communalism in the country.
Stating that all the political parties in the State need to
integrate together and stand against the Congress and BJP,
Nara said the campaign is a milestone in the political history
to curb the issues created by the two parties.
M Tombi, president, JDU, Manipur Unit while addressing
the meet lauded the left parties for coming together with the
electoral reformation campaign.
Accusing the Congress as a party that makes both the State
and country brimming with corruption and scams, he also
alleged BJP for trying to impose PR in different States.
The campaign will immensely be helpful in reforming the
ensuing Municipality election in the State, Tombi added.
S Samungou, Secretary, CPI (ML) Liberation, L Jotin,
Deputy Secretary, CPI, Sarat Salam, Secretary, CPI (M) and
K Manoranjan, Secretariat Member, RSP were among the
eminent politicians attending the meeting.
The campaign will be reached out at Khurai, Yaiskul,
Uripok, Wangkhei, Patsoi, Kshetrigao, Lilong, Naoremthong,
Singjamei, Laipham Khunou from tomorrow and it will end
on April 30 at Keishampat Lairembi.
