Imphal, September 21 2014:
Disappointed with the unorganised way of conducting the recruitment test for anganwadi workers the candidates who appeared in today's entrance test at Jiribam demanded the authorities concerned to conduct re-exam for the recruitment.
The entrance test for recruiting anganwadi workers and helpers for Jiribam Sub-Division was held under ICDS Project today at Government Higher Secondary School, Jiribam.
Claiming that the question paper for the written test for recruiting anganwadi workers was supposed to carry 50 marks, the candidates said that it carried only 40 marks and the marks allotted for question number 1 (VIII) in the test paper was not appropriate.
The candidates further stated that the marking system for the test was not systematic and organised.
The test should be based on English, Maths and GK as announced by the authority concerned but the test paper did not include any question based on General English, the candidates contended.
The candidates asserted that the mistakes which happened today were due to carelessness of the authorities concerned.
Therefore a re-exam must be conducted for the recruitment.
