Youth leadership camp begins

All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) President W Shamjai today inaugurated a three-day youth leadership residential camp at Khuman Lampak Kang Shang.
The programme is being organised by Imphal East United Clubs Organisation (IEUCO) under the sponsorship of All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO) .
The inaugural function was attended by W Shamjai president AMWJU; Ksh Rajen, president IEUCO; Y Mani Khuman, president AMUCO; KT Rahaman, adviser AMUCO; L Memchoubi Devi, president Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba, Manipur and Yumkhaibam Kunjarani Devi, president, All Manipur Voluntary Association as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

Speaking at the occasion, W Shamjai said that the camp assumes significance as it infuses a sense of nationalism among the youth besides moulding them to become future leaders.
He also appealed to all who participate in the camp to make best use of what they would be imparted during the training for the welfare of the society.
Ksh Rajen, president IEUCO said that the residential camp has been organised to prepare the youth to lead the society in the future.
Sobita Mangsatabam lectured on crimes, conflicts, corruption and human rights violation on the inaugural day of the camp.
