Imphal, December 28 2014:
Maintaining that investigation by any State agency is not trustworthy, BJP Manipur Pradesh has demanded investigation by the CBI into the discovery of human skulls and skeletons from Tombisana High School campus which has been shut down for quite sometime now.
Talking to reporters at their Nityaipat Chuthek office this afternoon, BJP Manipur Pradesh president Th Chaoba compared the discovery of skulls and skeletons with the mass killings committed by Pol Pot in Cambodia.
He said that the issue is a very serious one.
The area where Tombisana High School once stood was occupied by CRPF, BSF and commandos after AFSPA was imposed all over the State since 1980.In case any skeleton or skull was discovered from a private plot, the land owner would have been pulled up and put under intense questioning, Chaoba said.

The State Government's assurance to investigate the matter is not trustworthy.
Some people's observation that the area was once used a mortuary and dead bodies might have been buried there are all rubbish, claimed Chaoba.
The discovery of the skulls and the skeletons would expose how Manipuri people are being slaughtered by security forces under AFSPA.
BJP State unit demands that all suspected sites occupied by Army, central paramilitary forces and State forces be excavated for too many people have vanished without any trace.
He also appealed to all the victim families of involuntary disappearance to provide details of their disappeared loved ones to BJP.
This would help in bringing the State Government to task for all the crimes against humanity it committed.
He also called upon all the people to launch mass protest movements in order to ensure that CBI is roped in to investigate the disturbing discovery.
Chaoba said that he would go to New Delhi and apprise the matter to the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister.
A written representation would also be submitted seeking CBI enquiry.
After inspecting the ongoing digging work at the erstwhile Tombisana HS campus, Chaoba demanded suspension of the same work.
