BSEM question paper leakage : Three including two teachers remanded

Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal West, on March 13, remanded three individuals for alleged involvement in the leakage of Manipuri question paper of Class X examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM).
The accused individuals, identified as Oinam Bidyananda (25) s/o Biyomani of Naodakhong Makha Leikai (Wangoo Ahallup), Mayengbam Robin Singh (32) s/o Manglemjao of Naodakhong Chingya (a teacher of TE Paul Memorial High School, Sagang) and Amom Indrakumar (33) s/o Ibocha of Wangoo Ahallup Awang Leikai (engaged by school committee to teach Meitei Mayek at Sagang Higher Secondary School, Sagang) were arrested by a team of Cyber Crime Police Station, Manipur, based on a complaint lodged by the Secretary of BSEM.
During the hearing on March 13, the IO submitted that the three individuals were arrested on March 7 and March 8 after the Secretary of BSEM filed a complaint alleging that 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the Class X examination, the question paper of Manipuri subject was leaked on WhatsApp from a mobile phone.
On inspection of the screenshot photos of the question paper submitted by the complainant, it was found that images were shared by a mobile which was later traced to Oinam Bidyananda.
He was arrested on March 7 .
In the course of further investigation, some incriminating ar- ticles were seized from Sa-gang Higher Secondary School (Sagang, Churachandpur district) in connection with the case and two invigilators at assigned at the same school, identified as Mayengbam Robin and Amom Indrakumar were arrested on March 8 for their involvement in leaking the question paper.
Stating the facts, the IO prayed for 15 days judicial custody remand of the trio for necessary investigation, which the Court granted.
Hence, they were taken into judicial custody till March 27 .
