Applicants present ideas for 'Kshetrigao Startup Investment Fest 2022'

Imphal, May 08 2022: An event was conducted today to select the beneficiaries for Kshetrigao Startup Investment Fest 2022 at Princeton International School located at Kshetri Awang Leikai.

It may be noted that Kshetrigao Startup Investment Fest 2022 was launched by Kshetrigao AC MLA Noorul Hassan.

During the course of the event, applicants of the startup scheme showed their respective powerpoint presentations while advocating for their ideas as part of the screening process.

Addressing the media persons, Yaseer Khan, in-charge Kshetrigao Startup Investment Fest 2022, shared that they had received 160 applications for the startup scheme.

He said that 30 people will be selected for the first phase/season of the scheme.

For this purpose, 60 applicants had been chosen out of 160 to present their ideas at the event held today.

Yaseer Khan further said that the selected entrepreneurs will receive an amount starting from Rs 50,000 upto Rs 5 lakh.

He stated that the start up scheme will be conducted for five seasons during the next five years.

He further appealed to the applications to continue applying in future seasons even if they do not make it in this season.

It is worth noting that this start up scheme was launched by the Kshetrigao MLA with the aim of empowering unemployed youths of Kshetrigao AC to provide self-employment and improve their economic and financial situation.
