Imphal, January 27 2013 :
Taking serious note of non-declaration of written test results inspite of the recruitment process completed more than two years back, JAC for Written ASI Examination questioned failure by the Home Department to declare the same.
In case the ASI test result is not declared at the earliest, the JAC will take all possible measures to disturb the Government of Manipur's proposal to recruit constables, said JAC spokesperson Haobam Yadish at Manipur Press Club today.
Highlighting that over 3000 candidates had appeared at the ASI recruitment test conducted in all the nine districts on December 31, 2010, he conveyed that on the same day 444 candidates also appeared in the written test for recruitment of Sub Inspectors and Jamadars.
While written test result for the latter posts have already been declared along with completing viva-voce process on September 5, 2012, non-declaration of the ASI test result till date is highly questionable, Yadish expressed.
Informing that Home Minister Gaikhangam had assured a JAC delegation that the result would be declared on December 25 last, he wondered why the same is being held up till date.
Setting February 1 as the deadline to declare the result, the spokesperson reiterated that the JAC will cause disturbance to the upcoming constable recruitment test.
