The road of Kashimpur to Leisabithol is the only road that links the villagers to other societies.
however, the pathetic condition of the road have made trasportation, even for school going students, really difficult.
Very often, a press release stated, students could not reach school in time due to the condition of the road.
portions of the road, on the other hand, was eroded by the Ahmedabad canal.
The eroded portion of the road was renovated with bamboo poles and fencing by the villagers.
Some 2-3years ago, a similar incident had eroded most part of the road, the press statement added.

but, till date, there has been no steps taken, as such, by the ADC, Jiribam to repair the road.
Under all these circumstances, it further added, the village authorities as well as Clubs members and students of the four villages are constrained to launch an agitation from the mid night of September 5 by imposing an indefinite bandh on Kashimpur to Leisabithol road.
The villagers added that, until and unless government authorities do not taken any appropriate step to improve the condition of the road, they will continue with their agitation.
