The Counselling Centre for Rani Gaidinlu Welfare Society for Tribal People organised a one-day free guidance and counselling session for professional services for tribal students at Friends English Higher Secondary School, Ragailong today.
The session was attended by students from different institutions of Manipur.
During the first session, Dr S Xavier Pamei stressed on the problem faced by tribal students who aspire to pursue professional services.
He stated that tribal students are victims of their own shortcomings in not using their analytical mind, taking things for granted and lack of systematic approach.
To overcome this problem, he instructed the students to draw a study graph and evaluate their on performance.
Another speaker Len Haokip, who is a PO in SBI Main Branch, Imphal shared his personal experiences and incentive of the banking sector.
He advised the students to be sincere and dedicated in their approach towards endeavour.
The third speaker Mathew Kamei enlightened the students on various job prospects and on the manner to prepare for different services.
