ZSUB Foundation Day, Fresher’s Meeting and Cultural Night
Date : 19 August 2017
The Zeliangrong Students’ Union Bangalore (ZSUB) is proud to announce Zeliangrong’s biggest event ever hosted in Bangalore city. We cordially invite each and every one of you to witness our upcoming mega event.
We have combined three programs (ZSUB Foundation Day, Fresher’s Meeting and Cultural Night) on the same day to mark the biggest event of Zeliangrong in Bangalore. Various talented youths, prominent artists from different tribes and artists from Karnataka will perform on stage.
We have one of India’s most eminent IAS Officers, Shri Armstrong Pame attending the event as the Chief Guest for the ZSUB Foundation Day and Fresher’s Meet, while we have our Honorable MLA Shri Samuel Jiandai Kamei, Tml. Manipur attending as the Chief Guest for Zeliangrong Cultural Night.
Shri Ramalinga Reddy, honorable Minister for Transport, Karnataka and Dr. Boralingaiah IPS, Nodal Officer for Northeast Bangalore will grace the event as the Guests of Honor. Also, many other dignitaries from Karnataka will grace this special day.
Honorable Governor of Karnataka, Shri Vajubhai Vala and AZSU (AMN) President Shri Nchaheing Kompoing has conveyed their best wishes for this event as they are unable to attend the program in person due to prior commitments.
Our Motive:
We are organizing this event in order to establish unity in diversity, build relationship and to connect the people from different cultures for which our great Freedom Fighters such as “Rani Gaidinliu” and their predecessors have fought so hard for the integrity of our nation.
This social integration will help understand each other better, build stronger relationship and help one another promote our culture and lifestyle. The program aims at bringing unity in the society simultaneously, creating a platform for our youths and students to showcase their talents and creativity across various fields.
Additionally, to promote the unity and oneness of our Naga brotherhood, Mao Student’s Union Bangalore (MSUB), Tangkhul Katamnao Long Bengaluru (TKLB), Poumai Naga Tsiidoumai Me Bangalore (PNTMB) will be performing their Cultural Dance during our event for the first time.
We have received numerous nominations to perform in this event however, we could not accommodate all due to time constraint; nevertheless, all Naga tribes in Bangalore are extending their help in every way possible by volunteering their services for the program. We are very proud to have the solidarity of our Naga family strengthening our bond.
