Times of India | Jul 3, 2011, 11.39pm IST
Assam Rifles personnel have seized 310 grams of heroin from a tribal woman at Khudengtabi village close to Manipur's Moreh town bordering Myanmar.
Drug analysts said the Imphal-Moreh section of NH 39 is the key transit route of drugs, especially heroin, smuggled from the notorious Golden Triangle through the porous Indo-Myanmar border. The price of one kg heroin in the black market is over Rs 1 crore.
