Where Are We Going
Jitendra Kumar Singh*
Live we a thousand lives
But not one conveys
Joy to our heart
Is it apt that we are apart
Or we are just a part!
Some are mad , some sad
Like bits of paper
Lying scattered
Without a concierge
And of what class?
A thousand words
Speak we and inscribe
And articulate
Hardly one with
Essence of truth
Is it true that we’re liars
As if eyes can hide, and time
And whom do we lie ?
A thousand roads we tread
Takes us none of them
Where we want to go
Is it true we are vanishing
Every day, every moment
And where are we actually going!
