Vehicles banned from plying at night on NH 102

Based on Assam Rifles’ report that various insurgent groups were illegally transporting weapons and explosives along Imphal-Moreh section of NH-102, Manipur government has imposed restriction of vehicles plying on this highway during night. Manipur government has issued the restriction on March 3 last, said an official source Thursday.
As per the order, the movement of goods and passenger vehicles from Pallel to Moreh and vice-versa, that is, Moreh to Pallel would not be allowed from 6 pm to 5 am . The check gate at Pallel will be closed at 4.30 pm while the gate at Khudengthabi will remained closed from 5 pm, source said.
