Veg food among Modi's tips to NE

When it comes to building ties with the Northeast, Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi means ‘business’. For the first time, the sixth edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, held from January 11-13, invited 14 delegates from the Northeast, the biggest group so far from the region.
It seems the Gujarat government was keen to show the people of Northeast what is missing from the region – smooth, broad roads and 24X7 power supply. Modi played the perfect host and gave the NE delegates enough time to interact. He also said he would like to see people from his state exploring the Northeast as they love to travel. If the northeastern states offer the facilities, especially ‘vegetarian food’ they would be more than willing to change their holiday destinations from the usual beaten tracks, the Gujarat CM added.
