Tourism policy to develop war sites
The Telegraph | Imphal, June 24:
Manipur chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh today said important World War II sites in Manipur would be developed, along with other tourist destinations in the state, under a new tourism policy, which will be announced soon.
“The Manipur government is formulating the Manipur tourism policy, 2013. This will address the need to promote important World War II sites as tourists destinations,” Ibobi Singh told the House.
