The 'emo' Syde Of Lucifer
Czadanda Saint *
In your eyes
I see a distant dream
Fading away
A faint smile
Hanging around
Loosely
On your lips
Your soft brown eyes
Gazing softly away
As I see myself
Gazing back at you
In your soft soft eyes
Clear clear as the skies.
Baby, you are ever so beautiful
And on morphine
You look ever more so.
Your soft dreamy eyes
Lighting up
In a puzzled expression
A strange wonderment
Spreading over your face
As if Morpheus is soothing your madness
In exchange of all your dreams.
Sadness, sugar.
Loose strands
Of your wild wild hair
Dancing in the wind
Falling loosely on your lap
Forever gone
Much like your memories
Drifting away
A little more everyday
As you become a little less you
With every passing day.
Eyes, supposed to be
Windows to the soul
But when these eyes
Are compromised
By a glassy stare
What other way is there?
To reach out
To your heart turned stone.
What is there?
Hope or despair
Lurking behind
The emptiness of your eyes
Or is it just
The shadow of nothingness.
Baby, I need you to cry
But where have your tears all gone?
Once your constant companion
In your quarrels with loneliness
But when the solitude has won
Even the tears have left you dry.
Leaving behind only
A hollow smile
And fathomless eyes.
