Tension in Manipur's border Jiribam town

Tension surfaced in Manipur’s Jiribam town bordering Assam on Sunday when police unearthed a dead body of a 27-year old youth, who went missing around a week ago, from a place near Muslim village.
Misunderstanding arise amongst different communities as the news spread across the sub-division of Imphal East district as people suspected that the murderer(s) was from the village, reports received here said.
The dead body of Ayekpam Mangol (27) son of Modhu of Jiribam Nungchappi village was found buried at a place near Jiribam Rashidpur village, some five kilometer away on the south of the Jiribam PS.
