TSA Ceremonial Rite to its Former Secretary-General

The Thadou Students’ Association, Churachandpur Branch (TSA-CCP) today performed a ceremonial rite called “Kosa” at Tuijang Village, Churachandpur District for Late Shri Siehzahau T Singsit @ ST Singsit, who was the Former Secretary-General of Thadou Students’ Association, General Headquarters (TSA-GHQ) for three consecutive terms from 1993-2002.
The customary ceremonial rite was held in the presence of all the family members of (L) Shri ST Singsit, Executive Members of TSA Churachandpur Branch, TSA Kangvai Block and Shri Michael Lamjathang Haokip, Vice-President (Ex-officio) for TSA-GHQ.
(L) Shri ST Singsit also serves for Thadou civil organizations such as Thadou Youth Association (TYA) and Thadou Inpi (Formerly Thadou Tribe Council) as an Executive Member till 2011. He was very instrumental in reforming TSA in the year 1993 and has been named as one of the reforming father of TSA. TSA was established in the year 1957 at Motbung Village, Kangpokpi District, Manipur for the welfare of all Thadou students.
TSA condole their former secretary-general with heartfelt condolence and acknowledge the contribution of Shri ST Singsit to their family with Thadou traditional shawl “Saipikhup”. Mrs Chinneihoi W/o (L) ST Singsit presented traditional shawls to all the leaders of TSA in remembrance of the dear departed soul of her husband and urges all leaders to work more and more sincerely & faithfully for Thadou tribe, untiringly. The Ceremonial rite ended with a love feast.
