Strife-wary Nagas pray for peace
The Telegraph | H. Chishi | Kohima, April 5:
Apprehensive of more killings among the Naga militant factions, thousands of people gathered at the World War II Cemetery this morning during the Sunrise Service of Easter Sunday and prayed for peace and reconciliation among Naga groups.
Cutting across denominations, churches in Kohima have sought divine intervention to stop fratricidal killings among Naga outfits as more violence is feared following a split in the Khaplang faction of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN) recently.
